RETURN OF VEHICLE

IS YOUR CONTRACT COMING TO AN END?

 

To make the return process easier, read the Vehicle Return Guide. Please refer to your contract for detailed information. Below is how the whole process works in 6 simple steps.

1. PREVENTIVE INSPECTION

    Does the condition of the vehicle comply with our rules?

     

    In case of interest, we offer to arrange a preventive check-up with an independent company Dekra.

  • 2. VEHICLE REPAIR

    If the vehicle is damaged, have unacceptable damage repaired.

    Some unacceptable damage is shown in the vehicle return guide.

  • 3. RETURN ORDER

    Does a driver or other employee want to buy a vehicle?

     

    If you do not wish to buy the vehicle, please complete a vehicle return order and submit ideally 1-2 weeks before the end of the lease agreement, but no later than 5 working days before the requested return date (by 3pm on the specific working day, orders sent after 3pm will not be processed until the following working day).

    Return methods:

    In your email (vraceni@arval.cz), please include:

    • what vehicle you want to return (vehicle registration number, make and type)
    • who will be returning the vehicle (name, mobile phone number)
    • when you want to return the vehicle (date and time of return)
    • where you will be returning the vehicle

     

    Once we have processed your order, we will confirm your scheduled pick-up date.

  • 4. PREPARATION FOR RETURN

    Do you have all the documents, keys, 3. registration plate and vehicle accessories ready?

     

    Have the vehicle cleaned and washed just before returning it.

  • 5. HANDOVER OF THE VEHICLE

    Where and at what time do you want to return the vehicle?

     

    In order for us to ensure that the vehicle is professionally collected, including the preparation of a detailed vehicle condition report, the following conditions must be met:

     

    • the vehicle is handed over in a well-lit and accessible location
    • the vehicle is clean and dry, without ice or snow
    • there are no company stickers on the vehicle
    • the vehicle has a valid roadworthiness certificate and is roadworthy
  • 6. VEHICLE CONDITION REPORT AND FINAL BILLING

    Is everything correct in the vehicle acceptance report? Have I returned all the items with the vehicle?

    This report will then be used as the basis for the final vehicle condition report, including a detailed cost estimate for repairing any damage found on the vehicle. Any damage is clearly divided on the report into acceptable and unacceptable according to our rules.

    The resulting vehicle condition report serves as the basis for the termination of your lease agreement as well as the final billing.
